Relax in the French Quarter This Spring
Mardi Gras Madness behind us, we’re ready to look ahead to Spring in New Orleans! With warm, sunny weather and oak trees and flowers beginning to blossom, it feels like new life as come to the city. The warmer weather also brings street performers, artists, and musicians out in droves—so you can experience our unique culture at its best! It’s a glorious time to be in and around the French Quarter.
It’s a great time to relax and stroll through the French Quarter and admire New Orleans staples like the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square, take a ride on the Steamboat Natchez, and peruse the French Market.
Don’t worry: There are plenty of other events during March to keep you entertained as well. St. Patrick’s Day festivities and parades are March 13-22, along with the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival and of course the Foodfestival!
Did we mention the perfect weather? With highs in the mid to upper 70s, it’s a great time to break out the swim suit and catch some sun!
