Here's to Green Beads and Green Beer!
There were 70+ Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans this year, but if you couldn't make it for Carnival, there are three Mardi Gras-style parades in the French Quarter in March, not far from our hotels. Come join us as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day and St. Joseph's Day, New Orleans style!
On Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. don green and head to 1107 Decatur Street for Molly's at the Market Irish Parade. Enjoy marching groups, decorated carriages and the best frozen Irish coffee in the world!
On Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m., we'll be back on the parade route again for the Italian-American St. Joseph's Parade in the French Quarter. The parade will feature 16 floats, nine marching bands and a lot of Italian guys in tuxedos handing out carnations.
Then on Sunday, March 17 at 6 p.m., the good times will roll at the Downtown Irish Club Parade. They'll be throwing tons of beads as well as all the fixings for an Irish stew!
