Get Your Grub On At Gumbo Festival
The Treme Creole Gumbo Festival New Orleans combines two of New Orleans favorite things: our fantastic signature food and a fun-filled festival. The event features a smorgasbord of delicious gumbos like seafood gumbo, dark roux chicken and sausage gumbo, Creole filé gumbo, and vegan gumbo! Come hungry because other Big Easy favorites such as shrimp-n-grits and po boys will be served up with the gumbo. 
Of course the event comes equipped with New Orleans signature sounds of traditional and contemporary jazz. This year, the festival has an added air of excitement with a second-line parade. The best part: it’s a fulfilled weekend for the whole family with kids’ creative workshops and games.
The event is November 14 and15 from 11 a.m. until 7:15 p.m. in Louis Armstrong Park. Admission is free.
