With the Krewe of Boo Parade, City Park’s Scout Island Scream Park, Voodoo Fest and Halloween night on Frenchmen Street and in the French Quarter, New Orleans is the ideal location to celebrate Halloween. But did you know you can get in the mood any time of year with a haunted history tour, a cemetery tour, a visit to a voodoo shop, or a trip to the Museum of Death at 227 Dauphine in the French Quarter?
Word to the wise: If you’re traveling with kids, take them to Boo at the Zoo at Audubon Zoo instead.
