The cooler weather is just one reason fall is a fun time in New Orleans. With so much going on, it’s a bustling weekend in the Big Easy beginning November 8.

Louisiana Renaissance Festival

The Louisiana Renaissance Festival takes you back in time. The festival continues with Pirates and Heroes November 8 and 9. Have fun while you learn interesting information, like how some pirates were actually heroes! The pirates of Gene Lafitte the reason we won the Battle of New Orleans.

To celebrate Veterans Day, veterans and first responders receive 50 percent off admissions tickets and the first 200 Veterans will receive an American flag pin as an appreciation for your service.

The Rat Pack Tribute Show at the WWII Museum

Relive the comedy, camaraderie, music, and style of the original Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. The entertaining show will dazzle you with you with musical hits like Luck Be a Lady, The Lady is a Tramp, That’s Amoré, Mr. Bojangles, The Candy Man, and I Got the World on a String, and more!

This diner and a show is Saturday, November 8 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Saints vs San Francisco 49ers

Spend your Sunday with the Saints! Whether you’re in the Superdome or hanging out in the French Quarter, Sundays are reserved for yelling “Who Dat” with more than 100,000 of your closest friends, Who Dat Nation.

This week the Saints take on the 49ers at noon.
