Celebration in the Oaks
Christmas lights are one of the best decorations of the season. Celebration in the Oaks is an annual festival that showcases hundreds of thousands of lights across 13 acres of the historic City Park.
The tradition brings friends, families, visitors and locals together year after year. With things like “Dipping Snow Tree” and the “Who Dat” tree, it brings the culture and uniqueness of New Orleans to life in the form of lights.
This year’s celebration runs until January 4. Tickets are priced at $8 per person. Children three years of age and under get in free. Amusement park rides are $3 per ride or $17 for an unlimited ride band. The train ride around the park is $4. You can skip the lines and buy admission tickets online. There is a $1 extra fee for each ticket bought online.
Celebration in the Oaks is located at 1988 Victory Avenue, New Orleans, 70124.
