Caroling in Jackson Square

December 17 2014 | News

Jackson Square is the center of the artistic excitement in the French Quarter! On any given day, you’ll see a number of artists and street performers as you stroll through the streets mingling and laughing.

However, one night a year Jackson Square comes together with a joyous and moving event, Caroling in Jackson Square. During the event hundreds gather to sing Christmas carols by candle light. Their voices echo through the French Quarter in harmony.

Song sheets and candles are provided. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the caroling beings promptly at 7 p.m.  The temperature can vary this time of year in New Orleans, so make sure to check the weather and bundle up if appropriate.
