Enjoying New Orleans in the summer
It’s the perfect time to visit New Orleans. Sure it’s a little bit hot, but don’t let that stop you. There’s plenty of air conditioning and there’s plenty of cool drinks to keep you cool.
The warm temperatures didn’t stop Sandy and Phillip of the Outer Banks, North Carolina from enjoying New Orleans. They were here for twelve days, enjoying the beautiful weather of New Orleans and the comforts and luxury of none other than the Masion Dupuy.
Not only is the weather perfect, but another key difference is that the crowds are a whole lot thinner right now. For you, that means shorter waits at iconic and legendary French Quarter restaurants and less people to wade through on the streets and in the shops.
Plus, there are still many exciting events and festivals going on throughout the summer. Fourth of July with its fireworks is next week. Essence Music Festival is not far behind that. Then later next month is our Running of the Bulls. However, instead of actual bulls, we have roller derby girls chasing down the participants! It’s a lot of fun.
No matter when you come to see us and our beautiful city this summer there will be so much going on to enjoy.
Of course, after you spend a day of exploring the city or attending the events and festivals, make sure to spend some time exploring our cool, refreshing courtyard pool.
Maybe most importantly, in New Orleans summer time also means lower rates at the Masion Dupuy.
