The 35th Annual French Quarter Festival

April 1 2018 | News

April 12 – April 15, 2018

What started as a little festival 35 years ago has turned into one of the biggest free outdoor music festivals in America. Today French Quarter Festival is one of the most-anticipated events on the New Orleans festival calendar, and, what's even more impressive, it's right in our backyard – just a short stroll from the Hotel St. MarieFrench Market Inn and Hotel Provincial

Come hear hundreds of local bands for free on 20 stages all around the Vieux Carré. Traditional and contemporary jazz, rock, rhythm and blues, New Orleans funk, classical, swing, Cajun and zydeco, Latin....the French Quarter Fest has it all! Check out the 2018 musical line-up here.

The weather is near perfect this time of year and, if it rains a little, that's what second line umbrellas are for! Plus, this festival is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of New Orleans – the food, the drink, the old-world architecture, the fascinating people, great river views – all in one concentrated area.

Booking a room at one of the hotels in the French Quarter Collection for French Quarter Fest just makes sense. You'll have your own bathroom near by and you can come and go to the fest as you please. Plus, think of all the money you'll save on transportation! If you're like most of our guests, you'll have the time of your life.
