There are more than 70 parades in the New Orleans area during Carnival season which starts on Twelfth Night, January 6th. While the larger parades can’t maneuver through the narrow streets of the French Quarter and the Marigny (you have to walk the few block to Canal Street to see them), there are ten Mardi Gras parades in the French Quarter. These smaller, more intimate parades tend to be among the most creative and staying in the French Quarter really makes you feel like an insider. Come make our traditions your traditions.
As you might suspect, the hotels in the French Quarter Collection are always fully booked during Mardi Gras, so don’t wait to make your reservations. Book your French Quarter Hotel now. Click on the links below to learn about the individual krewes, parade dates, and routes.
