Parade Guide February 6- 8

February 4 2015 | News

Carnival parades kick are heating up this weekend, February 6 -8 with festivities in the French Quarter, Marigny, and Uptown! Krewes parading through Uptown are known for large, flashy floats and plenty of throws, while parades in the French Quarter and Marigny feature amazing live music, mule drawn floats and crazy costumes.

All areas are easily accessible from our convenient hotels. However, streetcars stop running two hours before a parade, so to help you plan your parades we’ve put together a list of parades in each area for you.

While the parades in Uptown tout being family-friendly, the French Quarter festivities may not be appropriate for all ages.
