Come down and cool down in New Orleans this August with the Coollinary, where we "celebrate dining in the most delicious city in America,” where restaurants offer a three course lunch for $20 or three course dinner for $35.
Antione’s: Family owned and operated for over 174 years, it’s a New Orleans staple! This year Antione’s is offering two tasty menus to try this Coolinary—lunch and dinner! If you’re heading over for lunch we starting with the wedge salad topped with cherry tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese with bacon vinaigrette; then diving into the crawfish etouffee—crawfish tails smothered in onions and peppers and served with onion and parsley rice; before treating yourself to a slice of chocolate cheesecake heaven.
The Bombay Club: This hidden treasure is a must try. Head over for dinner and enjoy Asian fried calamari served with sweet chili sauce and Sambal sour cream. Then enjoy the light Louisiana Gulf Fish Almondine with wilted spinach and Lemon Buerre Blanc. For the perfect ending, top it off with the sinfully rich bread pudding.
Crossroads at the House of Blues: For a fun, casual coolinary lunch experience, pop into the Crossroads at the House of Blues. Start with a House of Blues salad—fresh field greens, red and yellow tomatoes, spicy pecans and crumbled feta cheese drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Then sink your teeth into a spicy Jambalaya—marinated chicken, white rice Andouille sausage, sweet peppers and roasted green onions in a traditional jambalaya sauce. Their Bourbon Bread Pudding is an experience of its own with cooked bananas and white chocolate, finished with a bourbon caramel sauce and topped with fresh whipped cream.
Try them all, and tell us your favorite!
